HoneyBell season is a delicious burst of Florida sunshine in January It's no mystery why people love the sweetest, juiciest citrus around. Cushman's® HoneyBells are a hybrid of a Dancy Tangerine and a Duncan Grapefruit. And even though both of those citrus fruit have seeds, HoneyBells do not!

HoneyBell season lasts for just a few short weeks in January. That's when they ripen to perfection in our Florida orchards, and we handpick them and ship them as the ultimate citrus fruit gift to people lucky enough to have placed their orders in time — or to know someone who did. It'd be a good idea for you to order your HoneyBells now so you don't miss out and have to wait 'til — gasp — NEXT January!

The short season and limited supply is why HoneyBells are called the World's Only Limited Edition Fruit®. Order the HoneyBells Grand Family Size and you should have enough to enjoy and still share with every member of the family. This fruit will get raves from everyone, bite after sweet, juicy bite!

I received my shipment two days ago and I couldn't be more satisfied. This year's crop is one of the sweetest, juiciest ever. I have never been disappointed with a Honeybell, but this year just seems exceptional! I ordered the grand size box and the way it looks, we'll be ordering more before the season is over. Can't stop eating them. Gave some to friends and family and they too are raving about them. Cushman's promised delivery date was right on target and their customer service was pleasant and helpful. Thanks Cushman's for making the wait (only available in January) worth while!

        Service and delivery comments:

Customer will not let you talk to upper management, it takes days for a respond. Delivery was delay and delay till it ran out.

There is nothing bad about the Honeybells. If something is wrong, they will make it right. All you have to do is call the customer service department. The honeybells are the most juicy of all the oranges available to us on the market. We love them. I order more than we need and freeze them in the freezer. They hold up well. I have done this and it works. I just put them in hole and when I needed them I removed them from the freezer to the refrigerator when I had room and enjoyed them for another month. I actually lived off of these and nothing else for weeks. Yummy!! You can juice them or just peel them and eat. Believe me, they are the best!!

Comments about HoneyBells Grand Family Size:

I ordered the 36lb pack for just me and my hubby so I assumed I would have to give some away so they would not go bad. They came on the 14th and there are four trays of about 18 honeybells each. The honey bells were in varying stages of ripeness which was nice; some were to be eaten right away and some will probably not be ready to eat for another week. It is the 19th and we only have two trays left and we did not share any. They are jucy, sweet, and easy to peel. I will definitely order again next year.

            • Q:

If shipping to a region where the temps are well below freezing in January, how is the fruit protected during shipping? I'd like to send the Grand Family Size to a friend and her family, but I am just worried about them arriving frozen.

              • CUSTOMER CARE

                A:

Most of our fruit is shipped part of the way in climate-controlled trucks, and handed off to a major carrier for final delivery. This technique reduces the amount of time the fruit spends at ambient temperature and helps ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
